How will I access my child’s medical records?
At this time, there is no immediate change in how you access your child’s medical record. On March 3, our practice will transition to a new electronic health record, which will introduce a new patient portal. You’ll receive instructions about how to sign-up and a new log-in link on March 3.
Will I still be able to use my same patient portal?
On March 3, our practice will transition to a new electronic health record (EHR) that will enhance workflows for our team members so they can better support you and your family.
On that day, we will send an email from winifred@southriverpediatrics.ccsend.com (mailto:winifred@southriverpediatrics.ccsend.com)with a link, prompting you to create an account. We encourage you to create your account once you receive the message. This will be an important action for you to take, so you stay connected to our practice through our new patient portal.
Once you have access in the new portal, you will still be able to
• Communicate with your care team.
• View test results and referrals.
New features in the Zarminail portal include
• Access to schedule appointments with our clinicians, as well as with our nurses for appointments like flu vaccines.
• Ability to make payments in one location and/or save credit cards on file for future services.
While you will not be able to use your old portal for ongoing communication with our team, it’s important to note that you will maintain access to this portal for key information.
Your old account will be used to
• Pay statements with a date of service before March 3, 2026
• Review past visit notes and referrals.
For services March 3 and onward, all statements, visit notes, learning materials, health reminders, and referrals will be in the new Zarminali Pediatrics patient portal.
What is digital check-in?
We will also be introducing digital check-in, which gives you the option to complete some registration steps before checking in at the practice. With digital check-in, you can use your smart device to
• Complete paperwork online prior to arriving for your child's appointment.
• Review and update demographic and insurance information.
Digital check-in is not required; our team members will assist with any of these items upon arrival if you’d rather not complete them digitally.

Will there be any changes to the services offered?
In the near future, we will add telehealth options for occupational, physical, and speech therapy through our partnership with Ladder Health. We will keep you updated with details as we have them.

We’ve made the decision to stop taking cash payments and are no longer accepting checks in the clinics. If you prefer to pay by check, you will be able to mail them to the address listed on your statement.
We felt the resources needed to support continuation of receiving these payment options would be better spent in ways to add value to patient experience. Moving forward with this change keeps our resources focused on your child’s care.
